Reasons why people in Blue Zones live longer

Some scientists speculated that the reason why centenarian people in Blue Zones had such high resilience to illnesses is because they were born with strong genes. This sounds logical, but two European scientists conducted studies which showed that having good genes accounts for only a small percentage of why people have long life spans. They realised that it is the lifestyle that you choose which has the greatest affect on how long you’ll live. The team of researchers found a link between the way that people from these blue zones lived and their extra long life spans. For one thing they all tended to eat mainly raw food diets, with a small percentage of meats being eaten on special occasions. Most of their lifestyles can equally compare to us in the west or other major cities in the world; they have jobs, wives and husbands, children and other social problems. The difference is in the way that they cope with life problems, they tended to use daily religious rituals and a break in the day, when everyone relaxes for a few hours.

People in these blue zones are much more motivated by their families and loved ones, and tended to live together as a group through out their entire lives. Everyone has a place and a job to do within the family unit; they care for each other and in return receive care and love. In comparison to the western situation, there is little complaining and people do things for the good of their family; even the younger children are involved in daily activity. Purpose appears to be much clearer than in western societies.

The only way peole in the Western society can overcome aging is taking supplements like Resveratrol or Reneuve, although resveratrol has proven to be useless when it comes to delaying aging according to recent studies.
