Low calorie diet and telomerase to live longer

More and more researches are conducted in order to find a key to longer youth and never-ending life span. The most complicated ideas were under discussion but it turns out that the solution is as simple as it is. It is partially about how much we eat, if to be more specific – how much calories we intake. Scientists insist that cell functioning period is considerably prolonged when a person consumes less glucose. They have already proved that mice live up to 50% longer when their consumption of glucose is half as low or if they are taking telomerase supplement. However, let’s face that people eating less sugar to not going to live longer or remain younger for ever, even if they are taking telomerase. There are other reasons for that which are still unknown to the humanity but those solutions are very closely approached. And there are studies that proved that the consumption of glucose is not really responsible for our life expectancy. The thing is that yeasts were deprived of gene which detects glucose. The outcome was surprising: both cells (with a gene and without it) lived equally long. Studies conducted on rats showed that food rich in calories tends to decrease brain’s pleasure centers’ activity, this resulted in the fact that rats would be less inclined to eat substantial food and become addicted to low-calorie diet. Moreover, it turned out that pleasure centers become more active with food reduction. Another study showed that people who during their life did not undergo stress situations and most of their time were happy and satisfied lived longer.These two complex studies resulted in one simple truth – less calories and less depression is a secret to longevity. Plus if you factor a high telomerase intake, you really will have a go at a longer life-span.The truth is simple to pronounce but SO hard to follow. To make it less threatening think of being slow but effective. If you can not live without a teaspoon of sugar in your tea daily then think of adding just half a teaspoon to each cup of tea. And then do the math: how many calories are left behind in a few months. And this is in addition to some physical activity weekly and positive life attitude. You have to definitely stop thinking this way: life is short I have to enjoy it in full. It really will be short if you do not stop swallowing everything in your way! All our habits are a matter of time: the more time you spend changing your food preferences the sooner you will get used to being healthy and the idea of living longer. It is all about your attitude! Change some of your daily confirmations and you will change your life. For example instead of: “Live each day like it is the last one” to “I love my body too much to hurt it like that” (in terms of food, at least)!
