The Specifications of the Aptera 2e Vehicle

If you want to be the center of attention, the Aptera 2e is the car for you. It’s a three-wheel, two-seater odd electric looking car. It is about the size of a Honda Civic on the outside and a Honda CRX on the inside. It seats two people in relative comfort. It has enough room to haul three sets of golf clubs or 22 bags of groceries. Aptera has an air conditioning and a navigation system. A video camera with night vision provides a 180-degree view of what’s behind you because the back window is really small. The production model will be provided with power windows, power locks and front and side airbags. This car don’t have a transmission, power is coupled from motor directly to the front wheels. You can select from three driving modes with a knob on the dash. 1 limits output to maximize range. 2 is for normal driving. 3 offers brisker acceleration. It’s expected that Aptera will do zero to 60 in under 10 seconds which is on par with the Civic and Toyota Yaris. It has a maximum speed of 90 mph. The Aptera 2e works with a 13-kilowatt-hour lithium ion battery. When plugged into a standard 110-volt, 10-ampere outlet and it’ll recharge overnight. For 220 volt 30-ampere outlet it requires only four hours. The battery will last for 100 miles with two people, 250 pounds of cargo, and the AC going full blast. The battery will also possess a useful life of six years.
